Good news if you're thinking of selling your home

Have worries about the pandemic kept you from putting your house on the market? Worry no more. Residential realtors like me have adapted to current situation, and now have safe adaptations or digital alternatives for everything from home showings to closings. And buyers are buying: an article from Crain's Cleveland Business today reports that home "sales jumped nearly 20% from June and were up 10% from a year before."

Prospectors sellers should note that new listings have yet to return to last year's levels, so buyers have fewer homes to choose from. That's good news for anyone thinking of selling a home: Not only has the price for the average house in northeast Ohio risen (by 6.5%), but transactions are faster, with houses are typically "changing hands a week faster" than this time last year, Crain's reports.

Faster sales, higher offers. If you're interested in selling your home --or even talking over the pros and cons of putting your house on the market now, please give me a call (216.695.8695) or send an email.
